Emily Theodora is an alternative folk singer-songwriter based in London. Her sound has been described as spellbinding and open-hearted with magnetic vocals, catchy melodies and theatrical storytelling.
Emily began performing her songs in 2019, playing solo gigs and busking in London.
In 2022, after submitting home recordings of her original songs, she was selected to write a new song for Paul McCartney's 80th birthday and perform it in his childhood home.
Emily has since formed a band at The Roundhouse in Camden and brought in rock instrumentation to complement her original folk repertoire.
In 2023, she was invited to participate in Chris Difford's songwriting retreat where she co-wrote and performed alongside Grammy nominees Jamie Hartman and Beth Neilson Chapman.
Emily regularly gigs in venues around London to promote her upcoming EP. Recent gigs include High Tide Festival, Troubadour, The Camden Club and Riverside Studios.
